We always strive for providing what our customers want and need as a company, and we want to apply that heart and mindset in every situation. Love how two master artists from different worlds collide to make something new, inspired and beautiful. Recently, I have been thinking a lot of how many things in this world are categorized, segregated and quite frankly, too compartmentalized.

Love Mash is a challenge to take people, ideas and passions and mash it up to simply see if something new, inspired and beautiful can come of it.

Christmas is a special time for us in our family and we hope that what we create will translate the love, joy and happiness that we experience during this season. What a wonderful cause to be a part of and wishing you all a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year!

It was turning out to be just another ordinary day. However in one moment, what was ordinary became extraordinary.

It began with a simple coloring activity with my daughter. She colored her “Disney Princess Coloring Book” and I ended up doodling on a blank piece of paper that happened to be lying around.

It was fun. A father/daughter moment where we simply were present. It was serene. Coloring is such a meditative activity.

As we navigated and negotiated the sharing of the Crayola Crayons, Sophie glance over to check on what I was working on and in a moment, pure joy filled my daughter’s little face. She grabbed it and held it to her heart, as if it was her own. It was really cute. She held it as if it was something special, something inspired. But not until later that day, did my mind spark with the potential of the image.

For those who know me, the color yellow has been an important color to me. So much so, that I even started a blog chronicling my “Story of Yellow.” When I saw this image, it cemented a visual and spiritual paradigm I have been processing the past few months.

It was Color. Where does it come from? One source of color is a white light that is refracted to create a spectrum of color; like a rainbow. (Hence the addition of the white heart in the digital reproduction of this image.)

I believe God designed each of us to be an expression of His love in unique and individual ways, a piece of the spectrum. However the power, depth and sheer vastness of His love is expressed when the “Colors” of our love is expressed in community (spectrum).

So what started as a simple coloring activity has become a project to see what would happen with we “MASH”ed up the different ways people and organizations express their Love for God and People.

It’s intended to be a Research and Development exercise rather than a large sustaining operation. A place to innovate and cultivate new ways to Love People. These projects are meant to be catalysts to spark or add fuel to a movement. Think of it as a “Love Song Mash Up”.

So I will leave you with this statement of hope for this world.
